TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN AIRPORTS & PETALUMA

Petaluma is approximately 1.5 hours from the SFO or OAK airports. A rental car or car service may be used. Also available is the Groome airport shuttle – https://groometransportation.com/sonoma-county/ – which picks up and drops off at the Petaluma Fairgrounds and Double Tree by Hilton Hotel Sonoma Wine Country. Petaluma is approximately 25 minutes from the STS airport. A rental car or car service may be used.

COMMUTE TRAFFIC ADVISORY

• Avoid flights departing early in the morning, unless you arrange to stay near the airport the night before. Morning commute traffic from Petaluma heading south (toward San Francisco) may be very slow.
• Similarly, evening commute traffic from San Francisco heading north (toward Petaluma) is heavy. The traffic usually subsides after 6:30 pm.
